The fermentation has begun and a nice layer of "Krausen" has formed. It also seems that the lid is not 100% airtight, but hopefully this won’t hurt the beer at this stage. I will have to get a new bucket, preferrably one with a tap, for the secondary fermentation phase.
This is the big day! Finally I get to boil the wort and start fermenting my first beer. Still haven’t figured out a name for it yet… it’s going on my TO DO-list.
