After pestering all my friends for used half litre bottles for the last two weeks I finally got to put them to good use today. The beer has turned into a lovely copper tone and the gravety of the beer is down to 1.010, which makes ny beer a pretty ok Scottish Ale weighing in at (1.040 - 1.010) * 0.132 = 4.0 % vol
I couldn’t resist the temptation so I tried a couple of mouthfuls and I would say it’s looking promising. 
We’ll see in about two weeks…
